2014, October - We are currently nearing completion of a 5,500 SF / $300,000 interior renovation transformation to the Edith Davis Eve Chapel on the Penn State Altoona Campus.
2014, October - McKissick Associates had begun a $1.9 million roof replacement project, including the historic 1916 bell tower in the Administration building for the State Correctional Institution - Muncy. This project was awarded through the Pennsylvania Department of General Services.
2014, October - MimarMcKissick Architects and Engineers, a minority owned firm co-owned by Vern McKissick, III, AIA, was established in Baltimore, Maryland and has been granted Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Pennsylvania Department of General Services - Minority-owned Business Enterprise (MBE) status.
2014, September - Our Harrisburg office displayed the Landscape and Streetscape oil paintings of Robert Hughes throughout the month of September as a 5th year participant during the Art Association of Harrisburg's Gallery Walk (on September 14th).

2014, August - Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology (CPI) has retained McKissick Associates Architects to design a new Health Sciences building to support their expanded Associates Degree programs.
McKissick Associates selected for design of a $4.2 million track and stadium complex at the Williamsport Area High School
Mifflin County Junior High School bids come in nearly 12% under budget. The successful bidding for the reconstruction of the 1,100 pupil building originally constructed in 1954 enables the Board to add desired but previously unattainable work to project.
$42M Williamsport Area Middle School Dedicated. On November 10th after nearly 17 years of planning by Vern McKissick the 182,000 SF 1,200 pupil Middle School was dedicated. A reconstruction of a 1950 AD building it is projected to obtain a USGBC LEED Gold Rating
McKissick Associates selected for design of Windber Area Middle High School reconstruction project near Johnstown, PA.
Historic Stone Gym Completed. In August the last Phase of the Summerfield Elementary School campus reconstruction in Greensboro NC was opened for students. This project entailed complete restoration of a 1938 AD stone gymnasium originally constructed by the WPA.
Mimar McKissick Architects and Engineers LLC established. Kal Bhatti AIA, and Vern McKissick AIA partner to establish the new DBE - Disadvantage Business Enterprise. The Educational Studio at Mimar McKissick is providing K-14 educational design to clients in MD, DC, and VA
